Hey guys,
Well we have been quite busy lately with contracts and personal stuff, sorry for the lack of updates on our website! But don’t worry, we’ll have some cool stuff to show and talk about in the upcoming weeks!
As of now, let me announce a new video series by Montage Studio! The Airship timelapse modeling series!
At first, the airship project was suppose to be the subject of a full commentary/voice-over video explaining everything I was doing. Unfortunatly, paid work and school got in the way, and I had no time (and don’t expect to have much time in the near future) to record my voice over the fifteen+ hours of recording.
Don’t fear, though! These recorded modelling session aren’t lost! I decided to split them into different parts, speed them up and add music to make them interesting. And today, I proudly release (completely free! yeah yeah!) the first part of this series!
The modeling should be pretty straight foward, but if you have any questions about the technique I used, feel free to email me at: jsguillemette at montagestudio dot org with your question and the referenced time in the video. Next week, when I release PART 2, I’ll write a post with the answers to the questions I receive!
I hope you’ll enjoy the video as much I enjoyed modeling that ship!

As I said, this is the first part in a series of about 6 videos showcasing the whole modeling of an Airship. The original time on this particular part is around 3h30.
This is the final model:

The music comes from this blog: leoscarax.blogspot.com/
It’s a song made out of quotes from french movies related to Leos Carax (mostly ‘Mauvais Sang’) and songs from different artists mixed together.
I hope you enjoy the watch, if you have any questions feel free to email me at jsguillemette at montagestudio.org
