Hey dear readers!

I was giving a Blender class at the Society for Technological Art today, and one of my student brought his copy of ‘Blender for dummies’.  I had the opportunity to go through it, and I must say I wasn’t disapointed!

Jason Van Gumster did an extremely good job at going through the basics of blender. This book looks like a must have for every one starting with Blender!

oh and I had a cool [half] surprise.  Back when I was in Amsterdam for the Blender conference last October, Jason approached me and asked if I had a few renders along with me because they wanted to fill a page of the book with renders..he wasn’t too sure which picture would end up being used but I gave him a few I had on my gallery.  Turns out they used 3 of my images and Jason wrote some very kind word to me and Jonathan Williamson who also have an image published in the book. Thanks alot Jason!
