Montage Studio is a collaborative effort between three artists, Jonathan Williamson, Jean-Sébastian Guillemette and Ben Dansie. The three of us love what we do and show a real passion for it. To say that we have dedicated a lot of time to our art is an understatement… it would be more correct to say that we “live” in our art. It is what we do and who we are. Whether we are designing heart-pounding, war-machines or elegant, flowing figures we put forth the same intense focus in everything we do. We enjoy working on everything from  game characters, to film animatics, to advertising.

Hey everyone!

It’s been a while we wrote anything here, but it doesn’t mean we’re not busy. It’s actually the opposite!

The durian team just released the trailer of the third open source project ‘Sintel’.

This project is special for us because the three of us worked on it! Yep!  Ben Dansie has been in amsterdam since December to work on it full time, Jonathan Williamson has been acting as an external character modeller for a few months now, and me (Jean-Sébastien Guillemette) worked there for a month and a half full time before I had to come back to montréal for my current job at Shed studio.  The team over there is doing an incredible and really impressive job considering the amount of work that has to be done!
